Tsu Nami Curates Her Favorite Tracks Ahead of BUKU 2022

Emily Peters
Tsu Nami

With festival season underway, Tsu Nami took some time to curate some tunes as she gets ready to grace the stage at BUKU this month.

Tsu Nami has taken the scene by storm with her undeniably catchy beats over the past year. Since first making her break, the Los Angeles-based DJ and producer has continued to deliver a unique blend of future bass, pop, and more in her releases while looking to inspire women – and much like her name implies, she’s a force to be reckoned with.

After a run of shows in support of San Holo that took place at the end of 2021, Tsu Nami dropped her debut EP on bitbird, Ethereal, to praise from tastemakers and fans alike. Other releases from this rising superstar, including remixes of tracks like Rohaan’s “City of Ezra” and Manila Killa and juuku’s “Just Lost” which have only further showcased her dynamic style.

Now, with Buku Music + Art Project right around the corner, Tsu Nami is gearing up to take the stage and win over the hearts and minds of more fans who catch her play. Ahead of her performance later this month, she curated a playlist to help everyone set a proper vibe before they head to New Orleans that includes a flurry of her own tunes as well as those from Nora En Pure, salute, Pocket, FRQ NCY, and more.

Here’s a playlist of all of my favorite tunes I’ve been having on repeat lately. As well as some songs from my latest EP, “Ethereal”. I’m super stoked to be playing these out at BUKU!
