Breakbot Delivers the "Remedy" and New Tour Dates

Breakbot and Irfane release their funky new single “Remedy” along with a music video and North America tour dates!

French disco producer Breakbot and frequent collaborator Irfane are back with a funky new tune that will have you dancing straight through your workweek. The two give listeners around the world the ever so bouncy “Remedy” alongside a visually stunning animated video that sees the artists flying through other worlds and shattering reality.

Out now on Ed Banger Records, this uplifting tune encapsulates Breakbot’s feel-good production and boasts Irfane’s slick vocals. With a driving bassline and punchy drums, there is no denying the track’s irresistible groove. Additionally, this tune acts as the lead single off the forthcoming EP from Breakbot that’s due out later this year.

Like many of you over the course of the past two years, we were forced to watch the world from our homes for months on end. On the upside, this allowed us to finish the construction of our studio and to start working on new material. This is the first track we fully recorded and mixed in our new laboratory, which brings us much pride and joy. It embodies our quest for the “Remedy” to this pandemic.
The pumping beat, the funky bass line and the driving arpeggios give the tune a sense of relentless urgency, which contrasts with the sweet sound of the Fender Rhodes piano and the uplifting vocals that warn us of false prophets and their elusive promises. We are very happy to share this new episode with you, and hope it will contribute to keeping you in good spirits!

Not only did Breakbot and Irfane gift us this new single and music video, but the two also announced they are heading out on a North America tour for the first time in two years. Their run of shows will kick off on March 24 in Los Angeles at 1720 and will be making stops at Folsom in San Fransisco, The Mustache Bash in San Diego, Elsewhere in New York City, and the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, as well a handful of other hand-picked cities and venues.
