Emerging Italian bass producer msft shows off his eclectic production style with the four tracks on his newly released debut EP, Hands.
Hailing from Venice, rising talent Alessandro Garbellini has spent seven years honing his craft. Currently known by his msft moniker, the Italian producer experimented with his sound over the years, dabbling in house under his yung gado alias before switching to bass music in late 2016. Now, msft puts his own unique spin on halftime, trap, and dubstep, and has steadily self-released a handful of powerful bass bangers as of late.
Inspired by the likes of NGHTMRE, Zeds Dead, Louis The Child, and others in that realm, msft’s sound is big, bouncy, and full of flavor. After countless hours in the lab, he now emerges with his debut EP, Hands. Four tracks deep and brimming with bass, this EP takes listeners on a trip into this artist’s mind as he seamlessly switches from soulful stretches to blistering heat. From booty-shaking wobbles in “Won’t Stop Spinning” and brutal stabbing synths in “Oh Gah” to house-inspired wubs in “Yes I Do” and syncopated blips “Bring / Up,” there’s plenty to explore with surprises at every turn.
Having performed numerous shows and festivals at home in Italy, msft is slowly but surely solidifying himself in the international bass scene – and Hands will undoubtedly lead the way. Check out this release on Spotify or stream the EP on your favorite platform today!
