Kastra Wants to "Feel Your Love" with New Remix

Rising house DJ and producer Kastra took the reins to remix Kim Sozzi’s “Feel Your Love” in celebration of Ultra Music’s 25th anniversary.

New Jersey-based artist Ray Decker, formally known as Kastra, has made some waves since first entering the scene. His single “U & Me” grabbed the attention of many in 2019 while he also touched up iconic tracks like “Take Over Control” and “Glamorous” to twist them in a new way. This year has seen him continue his rise through the ranks with singles like “Fool For You” and “Be There” with Lost Boy which helped mark his arrival on Ultra Music.

Now, Kastra is helping Ultra Music celebrate the 25th anniversary of the label in style by taking his expertise in the remixing realm and putting a spin on Kim Sozzi‘s 2008 hit tune “Feel Your Love.” For this cut of the track, he took the club-ready anthem and transformed it with a deeper bassline that will induce a fantasy inside the mind when listening.

Working with Sozzi’s syrupy vocals, the New Jersey native creates a stirring build-up before erupting with pitched vocal chops and an explosive drop. It’s the kind of drop that completely washes over you, surrounding all aspects of your consciousness with swirls of vivid colors that dance along to the song’s beat. While Kastra provides the unyielding beats, all that’s left is to surrender to his polished and sultry soundscape.

It was a real honor to remix such a classic for Ultra’s 25th Anniversary! I tried to maintain the spirit of the original but update it for dancefloors in 2021. I remember hearing this song in clubs all the time back in the day – its pretty cool to be remixing it all these years later! Congrats to Kim Sozzi and Ultra!
