Kaskade is celebrating a decade of his beloved album Fire & Ice with a special show in Southern California dubbed Kaskade In The Park.
As the scene continues to recover from the past year, Kaskade is helping reignite good vibes in ravers near and far. This year alone has seen the renowned artist drop some fantastic tunes to get feet shuffling again, while also taking the stage at festivals and even becoming the first artist to headline SoFi Stadium as well. But that wasn’t all that Arkade boss had planned for his thriving following in Southern California.
Out of the blue this morning, Kaskade teased fans by tweeting “So… speaking of shows in Cali…” before making sure everyone had seen the magical set at SoFi. But soon after, he dropped an absolute bomb – the announcement of Kaskade In The Park that’s set to take place on October 2 at The Park at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine. While only limited details have surfaced so far about the show, one thing that’s for certain is that this is gearing up to be quite the party as Kaskade will be celebrating a decade of his iconic album Fire & Ice.
The seventh album in his discography, Fire & Ice was originally released on October 25, 2011 and features some of Kaskade’s most beloved anthems. This includes everything from “Eyes” with Mindy Gledhill and “Turn It Down” with Rebecca & Fiona to “Room for Happiness” with Skylar Grey and “Llove” with Haley, and earned Kaskade his first Grammy nomination. The album is also unique in that it was split up between the two elements, with the Fire disc being more energetic while Ice featuring more chilled-out versions of the same tunes.
The pre-sale for Kaskade In The Park will begin on Tuesday, August 31 at 10am PT. Head over to KaskadeMusic.com to get early access to the sale. Will you be celebrating a decade of Fire & Ice with Kaskade? Let us know in the comments!
