Sola Returns with Latest Compilation ‘Summer of Rave 2021’

in New Releases

Solardo curates tunes from house artists including Reblok & Andrew Meller, Hannah Laing, Mandalo, and more for latest Sola Compilation.

Since 2017 Sola Records has been championing the effort to bring underground and unknown house producers into the spotlight. From their massively successful New Beginnings compilation released back in February of this year, we saw new favorites such as Tim Baresko and Little Fritter explode onto the scene with a huge leg up from Sola and Solardo themselves. Now, the time has come to usher in the next wave of future house music stars with Sola’s latest compilation, Summer of Rave 2021.

Signaling our global return to the dancefloor, Summer of Rave 2021 delivers sensational tracks from start to finish. Kicking things off is emerging Scottish producer Hannah Laing with her infectious dancefloor weapon, “Records.” Jay De Lys lands track number two with his sun-soaked single “Stay” that comes custom-made for the shores of Ibiza to the UK’s biggest clubs. An early standout arrives from K-Mack & André Salmon as they deliver the irresistible club cut “Muma.” At the same time, Morgan Cole drops off his contemporary acid house groove “Acid Talk” – and we can’t get enough of his revamped sound.

As we dive a little deeper into Summer of Rave 2021 newcomers Lost on Mars drop off their fiery house groove “Jungle Flute” as addictive percussion, bubbling low-end, and well-polished fills permeate the vibe. Bourgeoning Manchester-based duo Mandalo land their sensational club banger “Soft Impact” with ease as it sets the tone for an exciting future ahead for the talented pair. Other must-hear tracks come in hot from Charlie Rice on “Night” and Niteplan prove their worth on “Work For It,” as we round out another sensational compilation curated by the steadily evolving Solardo.

Our Sola compilations allow us to showcase some of the best up and coming talent that we’ve handpicked from the scene. So many artists that have previously featured on our comps have gone on to absolutely smash it either with EPs directly with us or with other premium labels, and we’re so glad that we can be a part of that journey… We cannot wait to play out all these tunes on a huge set of Funktion Ones when the clubs start reopening and the raves finally return!

Logan Garrison

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
