Charlotte de Witte and her imprint, KNTXT, continue to gain ground in the techno scene and have fostered a new relationship with Apple Music.

Belgian techno artist Charlotte de Witte has steadily risen through the ranks of the techno scene with her remarkable releases and powerful performances over the years. In 2019, she looked to further cement her roots in the scene and took her KNTXT techno concept to new heights by unveiling that the brand would also operate as an imprint to help foster new sounds for lovers of the underground sound. Now, she’s taking KNTXT to the next level with the news of an exclusive partnership with Apple Music.

This new partnership will see a new page launched on Apple Music that features a variety of different activities that Charlotte de Witte and the KNTXT family have been up to. This includes an exclusive, monthly mix from the label boss herself, along with a series of guest mixes for KNTXT Radio with Anna, Pär Grindvik. Chris Liebing, Shlomi Aber, Jon Hester, Amotik, 747, and more already loaded in.

Additionally, the KNTXT Live Series will bring forth DJ mixes from the label’s curated nights to speakers around the world, while the KNTXT Active line is planned for the future. And the partnership also includes the KNTXT x New Form division, which will let fans relive Charlotte de Witte’s New Form Livestream mixes, with Rave On Time, Formula, and Return To Nowhere already available.

I’ve had a lot of radio and podcast experiences in the past and it’s something I always enjoyed doing. It enables me to showcase another side of techno and electronic music, not necessarily focussed on peak time club tracks, but offering a wide variety of deeper and more underground music. The entire KNTXT channel on Apple Music will be a look in my entire music collection. I’m excited to get started and take you on this journey with me!

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment. Whether he’s covering it or not, you can expect to find Grant Gilmore attending the next big electronic music event. To find out what’s next on his itinerary, follow him via the social links below.
