Wreckno disturbs the nest and causes it to buzz with his latest single “Honey Drip” while also teasing his unreleased tune “Hieroglyphs.”
Since first emerging on the scene, Wreckno has truly taken over the dance music community by storm. This Detroit-based queer DJ, producer, and rapper has continued to deliver fantastic tunes including the likes of “Medusa” with GRiZ and “The Püssy” with NotLö while also dominating the decks at festivals and clubs. Further, he’s shown his commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community by raising money for Trans Justice Funding Project with $1 from every ticket sold in June for his upcoming tour dates with CloZee and Zeds Dead being donated.
Today, Wreckno is further cementing his place in the scene with a fresh music video for his latest buzzing single, “Honey Drip.” Featuring his rapped vocals front and center over the subtle, yet wonky beat, that further showcases his style. The video sees him sitting atop a throne and with a vibrant yellow backdrop as his subjects dance, play, and cause a sticky mess with some honey – it really sets the scene for his drippy lyrics.
Midway through, the track shifts gears as Wreckno teases the unreleased jam “Hieroglyphs” that offers up another sick flow and beat for fans to immerse themselves in. These two songs help represent Wreckno’s diverse range of musical tastes and styles as he shows how much he’s come into his own as an artist. They will also be featured on Wreckno’s debut six-track EP Pansy, which is due out on June 23. This collection of tunes is one that will surely draw the attention of his growing fanbase and help them celebrate Pride Month in style, so keep your ears peeled and get ready to shake what your momma gave ya when it drops.
