Space Yacht Announces Newly Minted Record Label

After five years of bringing dance music lovers fantastic showcases and memorable club nights, Space Yacht has launched a new imprint.

One of the brands in the dance music scene that has truly taken the world by storm is Space Yacht. Originating as a weekly party that became renowned for its rowdiness, secret lineups, and free pizza, they’ve consistently had their finger on the pulse of the latest trends and helped foster top-tier talent along the way. Now, they’re looking to expand to even greater heights and bring forth a new home for artists with their latest venture, a record label.

Set to officially launch on Thursday, October 15, the brand-spankin’ new label from Space Yacht will be focused on bringing fresh tunes directly to your speakers each week. Inspired by their Tune Reactor show on Twitch where they dive deep into demos from rising artists in the scene while sharing their A&R process and reacting in real-time, this news further bolsters their synergistic efforts to grow the dance music community.

While the label is a huge addition to our daily operations, it’s really an extension of our mission since day one – to unearth the next generation in electronic music. Various investors and majors have approached us over the years to launch a label, but just didn’t feel like the right time. We’re glad we took our time with it to build a team on our terms. Almost everyone working on the label was a frequent attendee of our events and understands our culture deeply. What we are launching today will deepen the ties between all the things we’ve been doing in the past 5 years, and help us move forward really cohesively for years to come.

Kicking off with the release of “Moving Forward” by ??? and ??????? (trust us, you’ll know who these two are if you’ve been following Space Yacht lately), the label will look to make their mark with a DnB tune to truly announce their arrival. They also plan to go beyond the standard listening experience as well, as stems, acapellas, and more from forthcoming tracks will be available for download directly from their website. This will give producers the chance to make their own bootlegs and create something new while connecting the scene on a deeper level.
