Insomniac just unveiled a stacked list of initial artists who will grace the lineup for the debut edition of EDC Portugal in 2021.
Earlier this month, Pasquale Rotella and the Insomniac crew delivered some surprising news for dance music lovers in Europe with the teaser that they’d be returning to the continent as part of the 25 Year Celebration for Electric Daisy Carnival. Then, last week, they released the dates and location for the debut edition of EDC Portugal to continue with the surprises. Now, they’ve further built the hype by unveiling the initial wave of artists on the lineup.
Set to take place in Praia Da Rocha from June 18-20, 2021, EDC Portugal was already boasting of an impressive location, and now it has been paired with massive names in the scene on the first phase of the lineup. Major artists like Armin van Buuren, Adam Beyer, Gorgon City, Alesso, Tiesto, and Diplo immediately stand out but that’s just scratching the surface of the over 100 artists on the bill.
House and techno lovers will get their fix from artists including CamelPhat, ANNA, Hot Since 82, Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, and Tchami, while two sets from Eric Prydz (Cirez D) will also be stunning. Drum & Bass heads will be stoked to see Chase & Status, Wilkinson, Sub Focus, and Andy C among others on the initial list of artists who are sure to heat up the dancefloor. Additionally, there’s a heavy presence of hard dance with Brennan Heart, Angerfist, Headhunterz, Code Black, and DJ Isaac featured as well.

Tickets for EDC Portugal will be available for purchase starting on Thursday, October 1 at 9am BST. GA passes begin at €129 while VIP will be €199, with a layaway plan available with a deposit of €20.
