Shawn Wasabi Embarks on Animated Adventure with "MEDICINE" Music Video

**Acclaimed artist Shawn Wasabi already made waves with his album MANGOTALE this year and has now paired “MEDICINE” with a music video!**

One of the artists in the pop and electronic music scene who has made some major waves this summer is Shawn Wasabi. Known for his fun, catchy tunes that make listeners feel warm and fuzzy inside, this year he delivered bubbly beats with an Animal Crossing-inspired album dubbed MANGOTALE that put his creativity on full display.

Now, after dancing to his songs all summer long, Shawn Wasabi has gifted fans with a music video for one of the most memorable tunes off the album, “MEDICINE.” The track is an absolute bop that features the sultry voice of Tia Scola and pairing it with a visual journey makes it stand out even more.

Working with illustrator Ann Alonso and Venturia Animation Studios on the music video’s creation, it explores the story of Wasabi’s sidekick, a fearless bird called Toto. Immediately upon pressing play, viewers are thrust into the vibrant realm of Mango Island as the flightless bird takes off on a rescue mission that doesn’t quite go according to plan. It’s well worth checking out!

I created Mangotale island as my idea of a possible paradise. It’s a cool, mysterious place with lots of interesting characters and plenty of stories within stories. It all fits together like a puzzle. My new video for “Medicine” is one of the pieces to a much bigger puzzle. I had so much fun learning how to animate and a big thank you to Venturia Studio and Ann Alonso as they were a big part of making this come to life. I’m really proud of it and hope you’ll like it!!
