Insomniac sets their sights on the summer of 2021 and is already heating things up with their latest announcement, Day Trip Festival.

While dance music lovers continually to look longingly at photos and videos from past festivals or flock to livestreaming platforms for a dose of beats, Insomniac has been brewing up something fresh for 2021. While their fall festivals might be postponed to the new year due to the pandemic, they’ve been hard at work to figure out new experiences for festival fanatics to attend and the latest to be announced is Day Trip Festival.

After successful editions of Day Trip and Night Trip that have taken place at Exchange and Academy in Los Angeles, the time felt right for the brand to get its own time to shine in the spotlight during the season they’ve dominated. Set to take place on Saturday, July 3, 2021, this one-day, multi-stage affair is set on the picturesque LA Waterfront that offers ocean views of Cabrillo Beach and San Pedro Bay. (A look at the festival’s location can be found below.

While the lineup has yet to be announced, if past editions of Day Trip are any indication then there’s no doubt that Day Trip Festival will be packing a punch with some serious talent. Additionally, this festival will be 21+, feature craft cocktails, gourmet food trucks, and there will even be a fireworks show over the ocean to cap off the experience for those who attend.

Limited passes for Day Trip Festival go on sale Thursday, September 3 at 12pm PDT via their website. Tickets will be available for $39.99 or on layaway for $5 down. More details and the lineup are still to come so stay tuned to their socials for the latest updates!
