Gabriel & Dresden have been keeping us all sane throughout the pandemic with Club Quarantine and now they’re celebrating the 100th show in style!
As one of dance music’s most legendary duos, Gabriel & Dresden have continued to prove their abilities to keep dance music lovers grooving away, even in the face of a global pandemic. Back in March, they found a home on Twitch and created Club Quarantine as a space for their fans around the world to find solace amid the madness of the world.
Since its debut, Club Quarantine has become one of the most beloved series to take place on the platform, drawing in thousands of viewers from all reaches of the globe and cultivating a thriving community along with it. This week, Gabriel & Dresden will mark another milestone in their iconic career with the 100th edition of CQ, and they’re bringing some friends in to help celebrate in style.
Kicking off with the 99th edition on Friday, August 28, Club Quarantine will feature sets from Liquid Todd, Josh Gabriel, Seven Lions, Sofi Tukker, and Dave Dresden. Then, the fun kicks up a notch for the 100th edition on Saturday, August 29 as Karin Bash, Elevven, Fatum, Jerome Isma-Ae, and Sub Teal perform. To make things even more special, closing out the night will be a four-hour set from Gabriel & Dresden, who will be playing together for the first time since the pandemic began.
I have to start by saying we are truly humbled to be celebrating #CQ100. This community that has been built in my living room that loves to talk about music, stuffed animals, lava lamps, and pinecones is beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. I started streaming as a way to continue doing what I love but had no idea what Twitch was. I just knew I needed to DJ. These last five months have showed us how much people really support us. Our mods, people working behind the scenes, all of you who have helped keep the lights on, we appreciate you for helping make this community special. Gabriel & Dresden haven’t performed together for six months and I think it’s the longest time in our history we haven’t actually seen each other.
