Masks For Music is a global initiative that’s helping the music industry combat financial struggle amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.

In difficult times new ideas need to come to life that can help the music industry survive. It’s no secret that the year 2020 has been a challenging year for us all, especially for music industry professionals. While we have seen our favorite artist roll with the punches and come up with creative new ways to entertain us even as we all shelter at home via live streams, it can’t be denied that the struggle is real. That’s where Masks for Music has arrived to help with their new global initiative!

Masks for Music’s goal is to offer direct support to industry professionals, organizations, artists, and venues while raising awareness of the ongoing impact on the music industry and live music events industry during this global pandemic crisis. They do this in the hopes that it will go some way towards helping people at all levels of the music industry and while answering the global need for protection against the spread of coronavirus.

It’s becoming more and more likely that wearing necessary protective masks in public is going to be the new norm for some time to come, even as we eventually go back to attending in-person events. That’s why Masks for Music has presented a great opportunity for any music industry professional to utilize. Not only that, but they are also donating to charities supporting the music industry. Plus, the masks look pretty freaking fashionable!

EDM Identity is proud to support and promote Masks for Music’s initiative to bring visibility to this issue. Music industry professionals can use all the help they can get now more than ever, and it’s a great way to get that help while keeping ourselves safe and healthy as we navigate the pandemic crisis and start attending live shows and music festivals as they return.

Danae’s passion for music has been a constant in her life, with some of her earliest memories revolving around singing into a toy microphone she received as a Christmas gift. Raised on classic rock, it wasn’t until the early 2000s that she discovered her love for Electronic Dance Music (EDM). Danae has been attending raves since she was 15, immersing herself in the vibrant energy of the scene. Along with music, she has always had a deep love for writing — from crafting poetry to lyrics. She channeled this passion into a career as a digital marketer and copywriter for 11 years, most recently working as a marketing coordinator with Insomniac Events, and now as a correspondent with EDM Identity. Danae is excited to bring her unique voice to the EDM community and is thrilled to be a part of the EDM Identity family, where she’ll continue to grow and evolve as a creator.
