Alex Amaro

If you’re on the hunt for a fresh house mix filled to the brim with groovy tunes then this one from Alex Amaro should satiate your cravings.

As house and techno continue to dominate the landscape of the dance music scene there have been a number of rising stars who have also carved out their own unique space. One of those artists is Oakland’s own Alex Amaro who has been making some waves ever since transitioning away from his previous alias that was centered around breaks to the house music realm.

“I spent over a decade producing breaks under the name Sychosis and in the last year decided that I needed to rebrand a take a new direction. It’s been the best decision ever for me,” said Alex Amaro when asked about his journey as an artist so far. “The amount of support I’ve received from labels, DJs, and industry friends has been incredible and I’m super excited to be releasing music this year with Nightenjin, Brooklyn Fire, Groovy Bone, and Prescribed.”

While Alex Amaro’s fans are keeping their ears tuned for those upcoming releases he’s kept everyone occupied with a number of livestream performances. Whether broadcasting on his own social channels or taking the virtual stage during events like Nightenjin and Baked Up‘s HEAT, each set is simply teeming with terrific tunes.

Now, he’s gifted us all with a stunner of a mix that will keep your feet moving the entire time that includes unreleased gems and a brand new collab that he did with Cheechmo! So what are you waiting for? Get your dancing shoes on, press play on the mix below, and dance your worries away with this solid mix!
