After two stunning editions during the quarantine, Defected Virtual Festival has delivered another fantastic lineup featuring Calvin Harris!
When stay-at-home orders began to pop up around the world many dance music lovers who typically flocked to nightclubs and festivals on the weekends looked for elsewhere to go to get their fix of beats. Now, the entire scene has begun to dominate the virtual domain with livestreams, and Defected Records has helped lead the charge with Defected Virtual Festival!
Riding a wave of success after two massive editions of Defected Virtual Festival, the third in the series is already shaping up to be one of the best yet on April 10. Headlining the show is legendary artist Calvin Harris who will be spinning a set under his Love Regenerator alias that’s inspired by the early rave style.
“Defected helped define the sound of house music I was listening to as a teenager; I associate the old grey and blue 12” covers with so much happiness and inspiration… Since day one every release has been of quality, and when you think about it – with the amount the industry has changed since 1999 – to be smashing it out the park more than ever is a beyond incredible feat!” – Calvin Harris
Also joining the legendary lineup are renowned artists including Claptone, Roger Sanchez, Mike Dunn, and Black Motion. Other DJ sets will come from Defected residents Sam Divine, David Penn, and The Mambo Brothers, who will be doing a unique Ibiza sunset-inspired set.
Additionally, Defected Records is raising funds to support the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. If you’d like to give back in this great time of need, please head to their website for more information and donation options!
