Powabunga 2019

Powabunga has announced that they’ll be adding an additional location in 2020 and revealed the initial artists gracing the lineups at both editions!


Update January 9: Powabunga has added even more artists to their lineup as the festival organizers announced that GRiZ and Claptone will be playing in Vail while Bob Moses, Claptone, and Eli & Fur will be playing in Lake Tahoe. Tickets are still available!


Previously: After a successful edition in 2019, Powabunga is ready to return even better than ever in 2020. Returning to Vail, Colorado during their ‘closing weekend on April 17-19, this festival marks the last hurrah for ski season and caps off another great winter on the slopes. The three day festival will take place at Ford Park beginning at 4pm and ending at 10pm each night.

Adding even more fun to the mix, 2020 will also see the festival will add a second location as they expand to the shores of Lake Tahoe in Crystal Bay, Nevada. Starting your day on the slopes and sliding down to the stage, this festival will offer a fully immersive alpine experience. Set to take place March 20-22 this edition will include special activation events near Diamond Peak Ski Resort and some legendary after-parties!

The phase one lineup is stacked with some talented performers. Both festivals will feature artists like Mark Farina, Fleetmac Wood, Carlita, and Kazy Lambist, as well as the Desert Hearts Crew hosting takeover as well. The first headliner for Lake Tahoe is the Grammy-award winning duo, Bob Moses, while Vail will feature the South African sensation Goldfish. The remaining headliners are still to be announced for both, so make sure to stay tuned!

From the Colorado Rocky Mountains to the Sierra Nevada range, this festival strives to embrace the vibrant mountain culture. GA and VIP passes are available now with VIP including preferred viewing areas, a heated tent and private bar, as well as luxury bathrooms. Additionally, Powabunga’s partnership with Ski House has a variety of lodging packages starting at $99 in Tahoe and $125 in Vail!
