Artist Okuda San Miguel and DJ Paco Osuna will represent their ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ with Kaos Garden at Avant Gardner this December!
The debut of Kaos Garden on December 14 in NYC will follow its debut in Miami on the week prior as part of Art Basel. In NYC, the experience will take over Avant Gardner with the musical lineup curated by Paco Osuna and including Eats Everything, Lee Foss and elrow residents Bastian Bux and De La Swing.
The theme for the New York debut of elrow’art is Kaos Garden, a reinterpretation of Bosch’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights”. Paco Osuna will act as a sonic curator and spiritual guide. He and the DJs of the night will select the rhythms that mark the route from hell to Eden. Okuda San Miguel will provide his visual language of multicolored geometric structures and patterns, right down to elrow’s signature production elements.
“I think life is boring if you don’t do things your own way, even if it is not the way or in the order in which everyone expects,” explains Okuda San Miguel about the leitmotiv of Kaos Garden. “For me, chaos is the freedom to choose your own path and have a good time going through it. Let’s do it our way.”
Inside Avant Gardner, Kaos Garden will have three musical stages along with a number of additional interactive spaces. The ever configurable NYC venue allows for an entirely unique sensory experience for each of these takeovers.
