SLANDER to Bring “The Eye” to the Shrine Expo Hall in LA

Headbangers rejoice! Dynamic bass music duo SLANDER has announced that they are bringing “The Eye” back to Los Angeles in 2020!

Earlier this year, SLANDER unveiled their new stage production, dubbed “The Eye,” at the tail-end of their Headbangers Ball Tour. Shaped appropriately like their signature eye logo, the stage captivated audiences during the mere two nights it was debuted but left many hoping to see it return in the future.

This week, the duo delighted their fans in Southern California with the news that they’re bringing the famed platform stage back to LA. Set to take place on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1 at The Shrine Expo Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, we’re sure these will be two nights to remember if you love the stylings of SLANDER.

For the first time ever, vocalist Dylan Matthew will also be joining the duo for the shows and adding to the fun. If you’ve been listening to music coming from SLANDER then you should definitely recognize his vocals from tracks like “Love Is Gone”, “Without You”, and “Hate Being Alone”.

Judging by how successful both the Headbangers Ball and The Alchemy Tour were, we have no doubt that these two nights will be ones you won’t want to miss. Armed with Matthews’ live vocals and “The Eye”, we’d even wager that these might be two of their best shows yet. What better way to kick off your new year than by singing (and headbanging) along to your favorite self-proclaimed “heaven trap” duo!

Tickets for the Friday show sold out quickly and they just added the second night on February 1. Sign up now so you can gain access to the presale for that night on Wednesday, October 23 at 10am PT. Don’t sleep on this opportunity to witness this epic stage production for your very own eyes!

Sydney Grant

Sydney attributes her love for music from her mom, who insisted on playing The Foo Fighters and The White Stripes rather than Kiss FM whenever she drove carpool and agreed to allow Sydney to attend Coachella in the eighth grade as long as she could go with her. That first festival only greater affirmed Sydney’s passion for the scene, but it was not until 2013 when she attended Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour concert in Los Angeles that she discovered electronic music. She was hooked instantly and has since attended a total of 23 festivals, with countless concerts in between. Sydney’s favorite artists include RL Grime, Jauz, Jai Wolf, Louis The Child, Slander, Bearson and Big Gigantic but she is constantly on the look out for new music and artists to dance to. When she’s not scouring the internet for new tracks or grooving at a concert, Sydney studies Journalism and Biology full-time at the University of Oregon.
