Downlowd Takes Us to the Digital Realm with This Fall Mix

Grant Gilmore by Grant Gilmore
October 13, 2019
in Exclusive Mix

Downlowd has hacked our systems to bring us the latest mix in the Fall Frequencies series that highlights some of his favorite tracks and original music.

After rebooting his systems earlier this year, our favorite computer head Downlowd has been transmitting some serious heat to speakers near and far. Delivering fresh tracks on labels like Hungry Koala and his own Lowdcraft like “Shedo” and “Destinations” that have left us impressed, he’s clearly been honing his studio skills in 2019.

Downlowd has also been giving fans even more reasons to dance as he’s graced the stage in cities like Los Angeles and Austin over the course of the summer as well. Now, with the release of a new track on Lowdcraft called “ilü” on the horizon as well as the first arc of his official comic book, he’s plugged into our systems for a guest mix you definitely will want to tune into.

“Please enjoy this selection of tunes from the past, Present, and future that I curated exclusively for my good friends at EDM Identity. This mix has been transmitted to your world directly from my dimension, the Computerverse; it includes songs from friends, myself, and inspirations of mine. Look out for a brand new original at the very end!”

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack.
