The 2019 Editions of Dirtybird BBQ will feature some extra added fun for members of the flock at the Sizzle Stage!
Members of the Dirtybird flock have been salivating over the upcoming editions of Dirtybird BBQ in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Austin, Denver, and Brooklyn as they prepare for a full day of beats and good eats. Having already announced the lineups for each edition that a jam-packed with some of the label’s finest, more news has surfaced about the upcoming BBQs that you need to know about!
While you can surely dance the day away to sets from artists that range from Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin to rising stars like VNSSA and Steve Darko, this year Dirtybird BBQ will be offering more than just music and good eats. The Sizzle Stage will host live comedy, games, and the debut of the “Beat Kitchen” that will see celebrity chefs join in on the fun.
Dirtybird Campout veterans will love to see the addition of some familiar activities like the Balloon Push ‘N Pop field game, ‘The Great Bingo Revival’ (at the LA and Bay Area BBQs), and the return of the ‘Best In Show’ competition. On top of that, the local celebrity chefs have been announced for the BBQs in the Bay Area and Los Angeles as well.
Attendees for the Bay Area edition will be able to learn that ‘Getting Fried Iz The Shit’ with Chef Richie Nakano and Ardalan who will be teaching about how cook five-star fried food at the show. The Los Angeles BBQ will feature Chef Ocho of All Flavor No Grease who will be joined by Papa Claude himself as they compete in a hot sauce showdown dubbed “Let’s Taco ‘Bout ‘Getting Hot” that will feature the chef’s signature tacos.
Additionally, Dirtybird has announced that the special guest for Los Angeles, Austin, and Denver shows will be dynamic house duo, Walker & Royce. So get ready to boogie to their beats if you’ll be attending those shows in May and June!
