Zhu, Bob Moses, Justin Jay, and more are set to take the stage at the debut of Powabunga in Vail, Colorado on March 22-23! Will you be there?
The inaugural edition of Powabunga is set to touch down in Vail, Colorado on March 22 – 23 for a weekend that will be jam-packed with top-notch artists and plenty of snow. Kicking off each day at 4pm and ending at 10pm, the two-night festival offers an immersive mountain music experience for all who attend including large scale art installations, a costume ski-stravaganza, and of course the top-notch skiing and snowboarding that Vail Mountain has to offer as well.
On the music front, Powabunga will feature a headlining set from Zhu on Friday with support from none other than Dirtybird favorite, Justin Jay and newcomer to the “disco-not-disco” scene, De Lux. The bill on Saturday will be topped by Bob Moses performing an electrifying live set, with support filled by the one and only Boombox, as well as emerging electronic duo ISHI.
Each night there will be official afterparties held as well for those who want to keep the party rocking. Hosted at Vail Ale House from 10pm – 2am they’ll also be featuring some quality sets. Friday’s afterparty will feature a headline set from Justin Jay’s Fantastic Voyage, as well as up and coming Colorado favorites, Beschloo, Golden, Dirty Harry, and Stennor. Saturday’s afterparty offers an intimate DJ set from festival headliner Bob Moses, as well as Ishi, Ramona, Gavlak, and Paul Pietrini to close things out right.
