Life and Death x Sónar Release First Artists for NYC Showcase

DJ Harvey, DJ Tennis, and more are set to take the stage at the Life and Death x Sónar Showcase at Avant Gardner next month!

When two heavy hitters in the dance music scene come together for a showcase at a top venue in New York, the result is an experience that shouldn’t be missed. That’s exactly what’s happening on February 8, as renowned label Life and Death will join forces with Sónar for a collaborative event at Avant Gardner that brings a diverse range of DJs to the stage.

Founded by DJ Tennis in 2010, Life and Death has stood at the forefront of underground dance music and has taken the ever-evolving sound of their releases to stages around the world. Now, they’ve teamed up with Sónar, who is most well-known for their massive festival in Barcelona that highlights the latest trends in electronic music and artists who push the boundaries with their beats. Working together to create the Life and Death x Sónar showcase, they’ll take over three stages at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn while also bringing a KV2 sound system, art installations, and more.

Providing the soundtrack for the night is a list of DJs that is star-studded throughout. Sets from artists such as DJ Koze, DJ Harvey, and Moscoman are looking to be fantastic, and of course, you won’t want to miss a set from DJ Tennis, as well. There is also a slew of live sets from artists like Nosaj Thing, Byetone, and Daedelus that will surely be performances that will leave a lasting impression.
