Mark your calendars and start looking at flights now as Insomniac has announced that EDC Japan is set to return in May of 2019!

Announced just hours ago, Insomniac’s flagship Electric Daisy Carnival will touch down for their third edition on May 11 – 12, 2019. Set to return to the Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Beach Park, the EDC Japan will see the Insomniac team join forces with GMO Internet Group to bring headliners a dose of dance music from some of the scene’s top artists.

The 2019 edition of EDC Japan is set to bring four unique stages for headliners to explore: kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, neonGARDEN, and the boomboxARTCAR. While we expect some solid mainstage action at kineticFIELD, Insomniac has announced that HARD will be making their debut at the event and taking over the circuitGROUNDS while Factory 93 will be curating the lineup for the neonGARDEN. Last year featured some powerhouse names like deadmau5, FISHER, and Above & Beyond, so we can’t wait to see who will be taking the stage next May!

Two-day GA passes start at ¥18,000 and VIP passes start at ¥49,000. Tickets will be available on Saturday, December 1 at 12pm JST (Japan Standard Time) / 7 PM PST via japan.electricdaisycarnival.com/en/tickets.

Additionally, everyone aged 20+ who buys tickets for EDC Japan 2019 will be invited to “HARD presented by EDC Japan” held at “ageHa” on December 14 to catch Baauer, Ekali, and Dok2. Solo tickets for this event will be available for ¥4,000 on December 1 for iFlyer members and December 3 for ePlus, details can be found via the HARD Pre-Party Website!

While we patiently await the lineup, you can get a taste of what EDC Japan is all about by checking out the trailer below! Will you be heading to Zozo Marine Stadium this year? Leave us a comment and let us know!
