LA Gives Back is set to return for its third edition to raise money and awareness for the homeless in LA while providing a memorable show for fans.
Over the past three years, IHEARTCOMIX has supported a very special event known as LA Gives Back. This collaborative event is hosted by Ham on Everything, Brownies & Lemonade, Mad Decent, [adult swim], Emo Nite, Late Nite Laggers, Ninja Tune, and Restless Nites. All of the profits will go to local charities that help the Los Angeles homeless.
The single night event will take place December 19 and you should get your tickets early because it’s sure to sell out. Catch One (formerly Union Nightclub) will be hosting 6 rooms of epic artists and many surprise guests. Last year featured one of my favorite b2b’s consisting Party Favor b2b Diplo b2b Valentino Khan. This year they will also be hosting an online auction offering chances to win one-of-a-kind prizes with all proceeds going to the Downtown’s Women’s Center and My Friend’s Place.
This great tradition started back in 2016 and has raised more than $120,000 to help increase awareness about the epidemic of homelessness in the Los Angeles community. LA Gives Back has become each of the organizers’ holiday parties and has sold out every year. Tis the Season to give thanks and also remember those less fortunate that ourselves. As we all get ready for 2018 to come to a close, this is a fun way to give back and help create change for the community in our own backyard.
