“TipsGiving” is coming to the Historic Kings Theatre in Brooklyn with a three-night Tipper and Friends takeover!
For the first time in history, an electronic music show will be taking place at the legendary Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. Over Thanksgiving weekend, November 23-25, the masterful Tipper will host three nights of psychedelic electronic music spanning three different styles for each night of the weekend. Friday will start off with the always rowdy uptempo night, Saturday mellows out for the downtempo night, and Sunday will bring everyone back down to earth with an ambient experience.
Friday, November 23 will kick things off in style with 5am, Detox Unit, and a personal favorite Jade Cicada opening up the night before Tipper takes the stage at the immaculate Kings Theatre. Hold on tight for the madness that is about to ensue on Friday.
Saturday is going to be truly something special as Tipper’s team has worked to bring Australian sensation Spoonbill to play direct support for the downtempo night. Accompanying Spoonbill will be a favorite in the chilled out Glitch Hop scene Kaya Project for a DJ set, and up and coming downtempo producer Malakai, each allowing for a truly blissful bass music journey.
Bringing us all back into this realm on Sunday evening before Tipper takes control will be one of Europe’s go-to guys for curating chill stages, Kukan Dub Lagan, who is a blossoming artist that is truly a master of ambient chilled out space beats. Another awesome touch that is a staple of T&F Ambient nights is the infamous cuddle puddle. Everyone is encouraged to wear their comfiest outfits, onesies, or pajamas and literally get comfy on the floor and relax to his cosmic beats.
