TLZMN Takes a Dark Spin on LUZCID’s “Sing Me To Sleep”

LUZCID has released the long-awaited remix package for “Sing Me To Sleep”, featuring an eerie experimental bass flip by TLZMN!

Having recently released their EP The Hood on Wakaan, masked producer TLZMN is back with their signature twisted and experimental bass with their remix of LUZCID’s “Sing Me To Sleep”. The remix was just released on Circus Records in a delectable remix package, featuring Deadbeats‘ Champagne Drip, Freddy Todd, and several others. TLZMN‘s spin on the track takes us for a dark and elusive halftime journey that we don’t want to end.

The remix begins with an atmospheric introduction broken by distorted sound waves and rhythmic clacking. Though the remix retains some of the original elements of “Sing Me To Sleep”, TLZMN’s take is an entirely different entity. With its extraterrestrial bass warbles and snake-like tempo shifts, TLZMN has completely transformed LUZCID’s original, and if you love freeform bass then you won’t be able to get enough of this flip. You can stream the entire “Sing Me To Sleep” remix package via Spotify.

We are proud to premiere this dark freeform bass remix of LUZCID’s “Sing Me To Sleep” by TLZMN here at EDM Identity. Check it out and let us know what you think about TLZMN’s unique flip in the comments!

Listen to LUZCID – Sing Me To Sleep (TLZMN remix) on Spotify:

Hailing from Houston, LUZCID, otherwise known as Neil Barry, combines space bass with ethereal and almost psychedelic sounds. The result is dream-like and rightfully so, as his name alludes to lucid dreaming. He has collaborated with Crizzly, Figure, and Bassnectar, and has amassed support from freeform bass legends Liquid Stranger and Space Jesus, transcending genres in the process. It is safe to say that we never know exactly what to expect from LUZCID and his sound, but we can be sure we’ll be sent on an auditory expedition each time.

To complement “Sing Me To Sleep”, LUZCID created the LUZCID Dreamers’ Playlist, complete with tracks from Minnesota, Tipper, Hans Zimmer, and many more. Stream this playlist via Spotify!
