Do you want to play the Grand Artique with Beats Antique and the Lightning Orchestra at Lightning In A Bottle?
The Do Lab, Beats Antique, and the Grand Artique have partnered to give one musician and one performer the chance of a lifetime to play alongside Beats Antique and the Lightning Orchestra at this year’s Lightning In A Bottle.
The festival returns to Bradley, CA the weekend of May 24-28 and will host headliners Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, ZHU, GRiZ, and many more. There will be tons of great music and fun activities throughout the weekend, but do not miss this opportunity to play the Grand Artique stage!
To get in on all the action, musicians should submit a video of themselves playing Beats Antique’s “Beauty Beats” on an instrument of their choice. Performing artists should submit a one-minute video of their talent performing to “Beauty Beats”.
Submissions will be judged on originality, technical ability, creativity, and showmanship by Beats Antique, Do LaB, and the Grand Artique team. Show them what you got and find out more details below!
Submissions and voting will close at 11:59 am PDT on Monday, May 7.
How To Enter:
- Step 1: Read ALL of the instructions, qualifications, and rules below before you get started to be 100% sure you’re eligible to participate.
- Step 2A: For musicians, create a video of yourself playing “Beauty Beats” by Beats Antique – Download music assets here
- Step 2B: For performing artists, create a video of your talent performing to “Beauty Beats” by Beats Antique.
- Step 3: Upload your video to YouTube (make sure you save it as public or unlisted!)
- Step 4: Use the following as the title: “Beats Antique Lightning Orchestra Play LIB Competition’ “Beats Antique – Beauty Beats”: – Your Name”
- EG “Beats Antique Lightning Orchestra Competition “Beats Antique – Beauty Beats”: – Joe DaMan”.
- Step 5: Fill out the short submission form, providing your contact information, video link, and a brief explanation of why you think you deserve to play with the Beats Antique Lightning Orchestra.
- Step 6: Once your video is public and your form is submitted, share your video on your socials and get your friends and fans to vote for you by “Liking” your video.

- Performing live at LIB with Beats Antique Lightning Orchestra at the Grand Artique Stage
- 1 LIB 4-Day Festival Pass for 1st Place Musician
- 1 LIB 4-Day Festival Pass for 1st Place Performance Artist
Contest Qualifications:
- Submit an original video of you playing “Beats Antique – Beauty Beats”
- Must be 18+ years of age to enter
- Contest open to North Americans only
- Travel & Accommodations are not included
- Must be available to play at Lightning in a Bottle Sunday, May 27 from 2:30-4am (technically Sunday but really Saturday late night set) on Grand Antique’s stage
- Submissions and voting close at 11:59 pm PDT on Monday, May 7.
- Winner Announced on Friday, May 11 at 2 pm.
