AIM Electronic Music Festival returns in 2018 with an incredible Phase 1 Lineup featuring Claude VonStroke, John O’Callaghan, and more!

Taking place at the historic Parc Carillon in Quebec, Canada for its fourth year, AIM Electronic Music Festival returns with an amazing phase 1 lineup that will leave you in anticipation for more! Featuring Dirtybird boss Claude VonStroke, German Electro-Rock duo Digitalism (who are playing live!), internationally renowned artist Sasha, and the successful Techno/Tech House artist Dubfire as some of the headliners, the event is already pretty stacked with talent!

What’s beautiful about AIM Festival is that it’s the only festival in Canada that is authorized to play non-stop music for over 32 hours! That means if you aren’t a fan of the artists listed above, AIM offers soothing sounds suitable for all ears with expressive music to multiply your mind to. With genres ranging from headbanging heavy bass and house music that will get you grooving to trance that you’ll drift off to another planet with and some hard-hitting techno beats, there is a bit of everything available to listen to at the festival.

AIM (Art – Innovation – Movement) is an organization that offers mesmerizing sights with live performances, interactive multimedia art, and an intimate and immersive festival experience and set design. In their efforts to get the community more involved with the experience, there will be on-site activities such as educational and artistic workshops which will be announced later on.

Julia Brodnick

With a father who is a musician, Julia grew up surrounded by music. While trying out every instrument that peaked her interest, piano, drums, guitar, ukulele, and DAW software holds a special spot in her heart. Attending music events whether it be an open mic night, club, or a festival is one of her passions. As a child, her parents took her to concerts, but at age 13 is when she went to her first one on her own. Since then she has been to many different events in all genres. In 2008, she went to her first electronic music festival, Monster Massive. She's been to smaller club events, but nothing like a massive. After seeing the go-go dancers at Monster Massive, she knew that's what she wanted to do one day. In 2010, she started go-go dancing at smaller clubs and eventually became a performer for Insomniac Events where she performed with them for a year. Experiencing a festival from on the stage is an incredible feeling. There is so much powerful energy that reminds Julia just how much music means to her. While she doesn't dance anymore, she is currently training in pole and aerial arts in hopes to perform at events again someday. Being able to create and share the beauty of music and arts is something that Julia wants to put her energy into. The music scene has changed her life for the better and shaped her into who she is today.
