House Of Yes is teaming up with DISTRIKT to bring the Playa vibes to New York!

Updated information about change in venue below!

Can’t make it out to Burning Man this year? House Of Yes will be bringing those vibes direct from the Playa as they team up with DISTRIKT this weekend for an epic party in New York. Taking place at the HOUSE OF YES, this Summer Of Love party will be one not to miss, as there will be art, vendors, amazing beats, and of course, plenty of love to go around too.

Due to the weather, the venue has been moved from its original space to inside the House Of Yes. Updated address and official statement below:

RAIN SUCKS! But the show must go one! We are officially moving the party INDOORS to House of Yes.

Now featuring:
— 4 ROOMS to explore
— Outdoor courtyard (covered!)
— $5 mimosas + $7 pina coladas before 4pm
— Even more aerial spectacles
— HOT TUB !
— Full Bar All Day + Night

We hope you are still able to join us! If for some reason this change is a big inconvenience for you, please request a refund and we will honor it.

Wear your best Burner-styled attire and check out the variety of vendors at the event too. There will be food offerings, including vegan and vegetarian options, for those looking to grab a bite to eat and plenty of vendors showing off their best styles. Those in attendance will be dancing the day away to the sounds of The Scumfrog, DJ Kramer, Paul Geddes, and Alex Cecil, so make sure to bring your dancing shoes!

The Summer Of Love is free if you RSVP and arrive before 3pm, or you can grab tickets here!

The party doesn’t stop at 9pm though, as DISTRIKT will be bringing the after party to House Of Yes’ home base for more music to dance the night away to at Neon Nights. All Summer Of Love attendees will receive a discount at the door ($10 before 11pm), but general tickets are also available for those looking for a night-time only adventure too!

Proceeds from the event will go directly towards DISTRIKT’s efforts to build a massive new stage and art installation at Burning Man 2017 and they are thrilled to be providing their largest grant yet of $150,000 to artist Rob Bell of Zomadic. Having already raised over $83,000 through a Kickstarter campaign, DISTRIKT is evolving beyond a sound camp and are placing a big focus on the art component in their bar and stage design.

About House of Yes:

House of Yes opened its third iteration in Bushwick at the beginning of 2016 to become a beacon of NYC nightlife after shuttering its doors too soon in East Williamsburg three years ago. Original partners Anya Sapozhnikova and Kae Burke, teamed up with Ilan Telmont and Justin Ahiyon to build out the best venue ever with a little help from their friends, seeding a Kickstarter campaign for $92,340 (original goal: $60,000).

The space includes an art-deco restaurant parlor, a spectacularly decorated warehouse-sized performance space, a courtyard with kitschy repurposed decor, and a clandestine mini-club. House of Yes is now the home of circus spectacles, immersive cinema, burlesque and cabaret shows, aerial extravaganzas, nightlife parties, morning raves, brunch, BBQs, and bubble baths, all with superior sound and exemplary service. Each night is specially curated to create an immersive experience with music, theatrics, and performances to titillate the senses and expand your mind, unlike any other venue in Brooklyn right now.

About DISTRIKT:

DISTRIKT is a 501c3 non-profit music and art collective born of the Burning Man event. Our mission? Building and supporting an inclusive and diverse community by embracing people, music, and art. We celebrate community. We mentor altruism, the pure joy of giving. We pay homage to electronic music and alternative arts through throwing furious & fierce events in the desert and beyond, providing creatively designed spaces for free expression in music, dance, and the full panoply of artistic modalities. As a non-profit, we fundraise to bestow art grants for projects which otherwise might not manifest.

Our eclectic coterie offer up their talents — be it music making, drink slinging, construction craftiness, technological wizardry, performance art, or benevolent mischief. We live and breathe our ethos year round, giving back to the community that has inspired and bonded us together. This is our culture, this is our art, this is our gift. We grow our community through new blood, new ideas, and old friends. DISTRIKT is the very best part of us ALL.
