Presented by Paxahau Events, Detroit’s annual Movement Music Festival 2017 will bring thousands of attendees from all over the country to the iconic Hart Plaza for three days of some of the best in techno. Although the festival ends at 12am each night that doesn’t mean the party has to stop. Often times the after parties are more wild than the festival itself, so we’ve compiled a list of our top #MovementDetroit afterparties. About Movement Music Festival

The Movement Electronic Music Festival takes place every Memorial Day weekend inside Hart Plaza – Detroit’s legendary riverfront destination. The festival features: More than 120 of electronic music’s most illustrious artists performing in the birthplace of Techno; six outdoor stages; engaging art displays curated by top talent; a posh VIP setting located behind the Main Stage; an interactive technology center featuring the industry’s top electronic music instrument makers; and stellar additional programming each night after the festival closes, with dozens of official afterparties at several of the city’s hottest clubs and event spaces. Apart from being the creative director of EDMID, Tamlyn has worked as a talent buyer and marketing manager for a local events company. She has been actively involved in the EDM community since the early 2000s and has attended everything from small club events to massives. Through EDMID she hopes to positively influence the way you view EDM and introduce you to different aspects of the genre and the culture that comes with it.
