Yellow Claw Releases Lyric Video For “Good Day”!

Yellow Claw dropped a sick lyric video for their latest track “Good Day”!

Following the successful release of several singles off of their new album, Los Amsterdam, due out April 7, Yellow Claw has come out with a fun, animated lyrical video for their single, “Good Day.” The song features DJ Snake and vocals from Elliphant and synthesizes all three of the artist’s styles perfectly, creating the ultimate track to usher us into festival season. “Good Day” opens with robotic synths, which then transition into a more characteristically Yellow Claw sound, with aggressive beats contrasting against Elliphant’s dreamy vocals. No DJ Snake track would be complete without his classic, vocal chop technique drop. “Good Day” certainly does not disappoint. The tune pairs an electro baseline, hard-hitting kicks and vocal trap melodies, creating a song that will be sure to keep you grooving all day long.

The lyric video released last week, illustrated by Brian Elstak, adds to song’s feel-good vibes by pairing neon colors with cartoonish doodles one could only dream of finding in their notebook. The video is on the lengthier side, providing us with just under four minutes of creative animation. Together, the track and the video will leave you simultaneously wanting to dance in the streets and enroll in an art class.

Sydney Grant

Sydney attributes her love for music from her mom, who insisted on playing The Foo Fighters and The White Stripes rather than Kiss FM whenever she drove carpool and agreed to allow Sydney to attend Coachella in the eighth grade as long as she could go with her. That first festival only greater affirmed Sydney’s passion for the scene, but it was not until 2013 when she attended Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour concert in Los Angeles that she discovered electronic music. She was hooked instantly and has since attended a total of 23 festivals, with countless concerts in between. Sydney’s favorite artists include RL Grime, Jauz, Jai Wolf, Louis The Child, Slander, Bearson and Big Gigantic but she is constantly on the look out for new music and artists to dance to. When she’s not scouring the internet for new tracks or grooving at a concert, Sydney studies Journalism and Biology full-time at the University of Oregon.
