This week, V2 Presents is bringing some tantalizing technical bass to Salt Lake City! Their weekly edition of Therapy Thursdays is once again bringing a world-class artist to the lovely SKY nightclub in Salt Lake City. One of the hottest, new and up and coming artists in dance music will make their debut on the stage, REZZ! With more than a handful of releases on Deadmau5’s label mau5trap, you can be sure that this artist is one to take note of as Deadmau5 doesn’t let just anyone through the door. Known for a genre defining, barrier breaking, and enveloping pushing version of techno. She takes it to the dark side and gives it a deep, dark twist on a genre that is all too often noted as stale or boring.

Some know her as the “female gesaffelstein” others Isabelle Rezazadeh, but most know by her stage name as simply REZZ. She is an electronic music producer from Niagara Falls, Ontario and has been producing music since 2013 but has recently exploded onto the scene in the past two years. In 2015, REZZ released her first EP, Insurrection, through Nest HQ. She followed in 2016 with releases off deadmau5’s label mau5trap with The Silence is Deafening and Something’s Wrong Here.
REZZ wears glasses during her live sets as an ode to hypnosis and has continually built her brand around it. Her idea of live shows is trying to hypnotize the audience in a trance. She describes her music as “alien house” and her influences include deadmau5, Gesaffelstein, Bassnectar, Zeds Dead, Excision, and Datsik. Her preferred BPM is 100 and her fans identify themselves collectively as The Cult of REZZ.
