AlunaGeorge has teamed with IHEARTCOMIX and Soylent to produce a special live-streaming event to celebrate the release of their new album, ‘I Remember’ which is out now on Interscope Records. This one-of-a-kind event, imagined and curated by AlunaGeorge, begins at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET on Tuesday, September 20th, and will stream for two to four hours at Twitch.tv/IHEARTCOMIX.
Experience ‘I Remember’ Beyond Just The Sound
Teaming up with IHC to create a 12-room art installation that brings the songs on “I Remember” to life, the setting is sure to impress. Filmed as one continuous art piece for the record, each room features set design, performance artists, dancers, and Aluna herself. In this way, viewers will have the opportunity to feel the power of AlunaGeorge’s ground-breaking new album visually expressed. Outside of a core group of supporters, this exclusive, one-time event can only be experienced online via IHEARTCOMIX’s Twitch channel. The stream installation is directed by Jesus Rivera and produced by Franki Chan. Developed as part of IHC’s Party Stream live stream series, the program will also stream the private party surrounding the installation. Programming will feature Aluna Francis herself, special guest DJs, as well as a host. Viewers will also be able to partake in the festivities by chatting directly with Aluna via the stream.
AlunaGeorge’s Incredible Sophomore Album Is One to Remember…
‘I Remember’ is the eagerly awaited second album from the London duo, which also features producer George Reid. The album has lots of great artist features that give the album lots of texture without losing the catchy but intimate feel that AlunaGeorge has become known for. Some of the features include the likes of Flume, ZHU, Pell, Leikeli 47 and Dreezy. If you’re a fellow SoundCloud Go user, you can stream the entire album through SoundCloud, but there are even a handful of great tracks accessible to any SoundCloud user. One of the highlights of the album for me is the feature with Zhu on “My Blood.”
