Dancefestopia is returning for its 5th year to Kansas City this coming September. Each year, Borda Productions has grown and made the event so much better than the previous. Location and Date
New this year, DFT has moved from Berkley Riverfront Park to a new home of LeBenite Park in Sugar Creek, MO. The festival will take place on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of September. LaBenite Park is a “mile-long stretch of protected river basin”. It’s a forested conservation area (known as Liberty Bend Conservation Area) and is located along the Missouri River. According to Borda Productions, there will be more room for camping — both new forested camping and awesome riverfront too! Due to this location having much more space, there will be more room for lots of new activities like canoeing, hiking, hot air balloons, and more. There will also be room for additional stages!
The Lineup
The lineup for DFT this year has brought both new and familiar faces back to the event. There are some huge artists who will be present such as Adventure Club, Seven Lions, HeadHunterz, Griz, Bingo Players, Exision, and more. Borda has also brought in some Kansas City local artists to support the lineup like Bobby Bohn, Matej B, and Mr. Kristopher.
