One tradition of the rave culture here in the United States has been kandi. In celebration of the twenty years under the electric sky, we are here to give you some kandi ideas for #EDC20!
In preparation for EDC Las Vegas 2016 and the 20th anniversary, we bring you an article with some kandi ideas! All the creativity that surrounds the process of creating custom pieces and the hard work of people making these designs come to life. Kandi has been around for the longest time but it has become increasingly complex. People really do put a lot of time and effort into their creations, so treasure your trades! Here’s a few very unique designs that are themed around EDC and included will be a very special #EDC20 design brought to you by the fine members of EDMID!
A classic EDC logo that is great for cuffs and necklaces! Clean and simple; Many applications work perfectly for this perler! Below you will find a link to the perler patterns, take them and make it your own! As for the cuff, I suggest a watching this YouTube video if you want to learn how to make cuffs or just need a quick refresher.

This is also a classic when it comes to making Kandi for EDC. Owls are a staple of Insomniac; so it’s only fitting to have a piece on you that represents that. Here are a few that I find amazing! Try searching up some and be creative with them! Owls are majestic, your Kandi should be too.

Finally we have our own creation, this is a collaboration between Grant and Brandon in order to perfect the pattern. Taking the Classic EDC logo and adjusting it to display a 20th anniversary piece is a must for this year’s huge celebration! We hope to see a lot of people wearing this out at EDC this year. The clear edges and fill is optional but recommended for necklaces and other items that may catch, it should be just fine on a cuff without it. The EDM Identity team cannot wait to see what everyone does with their own designs this year.
