Festival season is in full swing and Memorial Day Weekend is always a weekend packed full of different events and festivals alike. This year is no exception to that, as there will be over 20 events on the West Coast alone. One of the festivals to catch this year up in Northern California is Audio on the Bay 2016. This festival hosted by Audiotistic, which is a brand underneath the Insomniac Events umbrella. Last year had an impressive showing, and this year’s lineup is as stacked as previous years. In no particular order, here are the Top 5 Artists I recommend not to miss.

Slander
Known for their “Heaven Trap” remixes, Slander took the festival scene by storm in 2015. With multiple main stage appearances at a variety of festivals, such as EZOO, Spring Awakening, and EDC Brasil. This year Slander is going to take it even higher. Be sure to catch them on Day 2 of Audio on the Bay.

Ghastly
Ghastly is not just an artist to check out at this event, but he is one who has been blowing up this entire year so far. He’s been touring with Zomboy on the Neon Grave Tour and has been featured on numerous festival lineups this year including Beyond Wonderland SoCal back in March. Keep an eye on this up and comer. Catch him on Day 2 of Audio on the Bay!

Keys N Krates
If you’ve been listening to Trap for any time at all, the next name should be no surprise to you. Keys N Krates has been redefining the genre for years. Their music has been a huge staple in my playlists for almost just as long. Be sure to catch their set as it’s sure to flow from song to song and leave you dancing all night.

Vincent
Vincent is an up and comer to the Trap genre. He’s been producing for years under his previous moniker XVII but recently re-branded himself, though the sound is still the same. Crisp synth lines with hard hitting 808s underneath. Similar to the likes of Flume, Andrew Luce, and Troyboi, he’s definitely not one to miss. Catch him on Day 2 of Audio on the Bay.

Chris Lake
To be the only non-Dubstep or Trap DJ on my list, you know this guy has to be something special, and he certainly is. Chris Lake is one of the very first artists I heard in the Bass House genre and his sets are sure to keep you grooving all night long. Catch him on Day 1 of Audio on the Bay.
