We Are NRG 2016 is well on its way to selling out. 2-day general admission and Saturday only are now completely sold out with Friday passes still available. As the single stage event rapidly approaches I’m most excited for the wide variety of genres that will be present. Last year Insomniac touted the event as a “back to basics” festival, featuring everything from trap to trance. This year’s event will contain growing and established names in electro, house and trance with artists like W&W, Laidback Luke, Sander van Doorn, and CID to name just a few. I can’t wait to see you all there, be sure to stay hydrated, be safe, and most importantly have fun!

Make sure you plan out your night. With the event going from 7pm to 3am you’ll need to make sure you figure out when to take water/bathroom breaks or meet up with your friends!
Mind Your Belongings
Unfortunately, many people have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses and other valuables during this festival season. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, there are opportunistic people who come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting party goers and it’s important to be mindful of your valuables while at We Are NRG.
Pay attention to who’s around you and what’s going on around you. Keep your wallet and phone in your front pocket(s) if you can. Treat your phone the same way you would treat cash; don’t set it down on a table or bar and look away. If a friend isn’t standing behind you in a crowd, be careful of your backpack or purse, and don’t put valuables in a pocket that could easily be unzipped by someone behind in a crowded spot without you realizing.
