Mau5trap’s Mau5hax Bus Tour at Treehouse || Event Preview

With recent news of the Mauh5hax Bus Tour canceling events during its tour due to illness, it’s gonna be interesting to see how this last stop will go.  As a way to close out Miami Music Week, the much anticipated tour will be making its final stop at Treehouse in Miami with an event showcasing some of the different talent from the Mau5trap label.  Artists include ATTLAS, Matt Lange, Steve Duda, along with a special “gue5t”.  We can only guess that the special “gue5t” is none other than Deadmau5, aka Joel Zimmerman since he was present at most of the tour stops apart from those that were cancelled. After all he is performing at the ASOT stage at Ultra that night.

Tickets are still available, but will probably sell out.  Purchase tickets here.

This blogger is excited for this event to check out some of the artists off Deadmau5’s label, along with seeing Joel perform once again.  The last time I saw him perform was at Ultra 2013, and I fell in love.  It would be nice to actual take my Tardi5mau5 head to an actual Deadmau5 performance.  Of course Joel wants the attention focused on the artists of his label and not himself.  Which is completely understandable.

As for the Treehouse, I’ve never really heard of the venue.  After checking out their Facebook and official website, this sounds like a pretty chill club.  Now it’s usually expected to dress to impress, as is custom with anywhere in Miami Beach; however Treehouse there is no dress code.  According to their website, “No need for fancy attire; your best dancing shoes are a must!”

House Music Miami describes Treehouse as this:

This high-end venue with a cool treehouse theme and indoor outdoor areas is one of the hippest new clubs on South Beach. Voted “Best Small Music Venue” by Miami New Times, the club boasts cutting-edge bookings of internationally renowned electronic dance music DJs and live performers. A monster Bassmaxx Sound system rocks both dancefloors and the outdoor patio/bar reminds us why the pace is called Treehouse. Its non-pretentious door staff and friendly staff catering to a mix of locals, visitors and models provide a fine ambiance that is quickly garnering the Treehouse a solid reputation on the world-wide party circuit.

With a description like this I will definitely want to check out this location!

After serving in the military for eight years and attending Florida International University in Miami, I attended my first EDM concert in 2012. The DJ I saw was Kaskade and I fell in love with the scene immediately. Since joining the EDM community in 2012, I have been to several different music festivals which include: Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, TomorrowWorld, Mysteryland, Electric Forest and many others. I have also been to several shows but prefer music festivals overall. Some of my favorite DJs include: Deadmau5, Kaskade, Rabbit in the Moon, and many others. EDM has always had a place in my heart and it actually came into my life when I really needed it, you could say it saved my life.
