Flume has just released the official video for “Never Be Like You.” Flume has found his signature future bass/ambient/down-tempo sound that made him a household name in the EDM world. How could you not love what he creates?! Featured vocals from the seductive singer/songwriter Kai lifts this song to epic proportions as her voice carries you from one break beat to the next.
“Never Be Like You” features a melodic vocal track that lures listeners in immediately and hooks them with floaty overlay and a catchy drum line. The vocals portray a very common relationship experience in which the two members of a couple are trying to reconcile relationship issues while still utterly drunk in love. The video portrays just as much with it’s classic storyline of an affectionate couple comprised of self-reflective individuals. It has a unique distorted effect over parts of the storyline creating an intriguing, almost under-water or intoxicated effect, relaying that even though the relationship has some inherent faults, the couple remains deliriously in love. This track is a delight for all the senses!
