Hardwell showed the world what’s possible with dance music when he made the decision to perform for over 70,000 fans on his own personal guest list for the “World’s Biggest Guestlist” concert.
Disheartened by what he witnessed during a visit to India on a previous tour, Hardwell made the personal decision to strike a social difference in the community. On December 13th 2015, the historical concert was held in Mumbai, India at one of the largest stadiums in the country. The event made history through bringing awareness and change on the crucial matter of education for young and underprivileged children residing in the slums of Mumbai. From the generous contributions (donations from fans and sponsorships), Hardwell’s United We Are Foundation and Guestlistevents.in raised enough money to benefit over 18,000 children living in poverty.
“…the first thing I noticed while we were on our way was homeless kids seeking shelter, because it was pouring rain, underneath my billboard. That felt super weird…”
The aftermovie features highlights from Hardwell’s amazing performance along with commentary from the United Welfare Trust founder and the Anna Agency CEO. You’ll also find footage of Hardwell’s journey through the slums of Mumbai while meeting with the children who will directly benefit from th Magic Bus charity project.
“…I promised myself the next time I come back to India with a show, I want to give something back to this country.”
Over 10 million fans tuned into the livestream to witness the momentous act for the first time from a DJ within the electronic music industry. We can now relive this generous deed with the United We Are Foundation Aftermovie.
