Chicago Duo Louis The Child (Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett) are rippling into the electronic scene and show no signs of slowing down. Their first single “It’s Strange” featuring K.Flay has climbed to #1 on HypeMachine, #2 on Spotify’s viral chart, gathered more than 4 million YouTube views, is featured on FIFA 16’s soundtrack, and is Taylor Swift approved. Not only that, but the track got its own tour and had stops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and even SnowGlobe Music Festival. Last year Louis The Child released their synth-y rendition of Kaskade’s “Never Sleep Alone” and recently released remixes of Ty Dolla $ign’s “Blasé” and Miike Snow’s “Genghis Khan.” To top off an ever increasing set of accolades Louis The Child have been featured in Complex’s “10 up-and-coming DJs who should be on your radar in 2016,” Snapchat’s “Artists to Watch for 2016,” and will be headed out on tour again with stops at huge events like SXSW and Coachella.
Louis The Child – It’s Strange (Ft. K.Flay):
Ever since seeing Louis The Child at SnowGlobe 2015 I have been patiently awaiting waiting to see the Chicago duo live again. It’s a good thing I have my Coachella ticket already, but I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing them on tour for a more intimate experience.
