What was your first electronic music event?
It was supposed to be White Wonderland 2010 but that was the year they switched venues last minute to a WAY smaller location and reached max capacity before I got in. Beyond Wonderland 2013 was the first event I was actually able to get into, I ended up getting stranded, by myself with a dead phone. Some couple was nice enough to give me a little blanket and use one of their phones, my boyfriend at the time came all the way out there to pick me up.
What/who influenced you to attend your first event?
I was seeing so many pictures of all my friends going to all ages shows in 09/10 and I was so ready to start going as soon as I saw all the lasers and unique looking people
What is one moment from an event that was special and why?
My ex and I rode the swings at EDCLV 2014 and it was one of the most happiest moments of my life…sadly we aren’t together anymore but, that is one moment I will never forget.
What is your favorite festival or event?
It’s a tough one between EDC Las Vegas 2014 or Nocturnal 2015 they were both amazing/mind blowing.
What is your favorite electronic song and why?
Calvin Harris – I Am Not Alone; I even have a line from the song tattooed on me with an alien! That was one of the first electronic song that made me feel good about my self in a very dark time in my life. It really did make me feel “not alone”. Tim Berg – See Bromance is a close second though.
Who are your favorite artists?
I like so many different artist it’s hard to say haha. Some artist I only really LIKE 1 or 2 of their songs, and others, I only DON’T like 1 or 2 songs.
What are your favorite genres?
Again I like so many it’s hard to say, if I can bang my head to a song, groove to a song, move my hips to a song, shuffle to a song(well try to shuffle) I’ll like it. From Trance to hardstyle to techno. And all in between. But I will say this, there are a very select few trap songs that I can handle.
What do you feel your “identity” is in the electronic music community?
Rave mom. I am always trying to look out for/help the ones in my group and others. Yeah, sometimes people don’t want help. Yeah, sometimes I’ve ended up not having the best of times but, at festivals everyone has their ups and their downs. I just live on the ups more than the downs.
