Countdown 2015 is just over a week away! While you’re wrapping and unwrapping holiday surprises, Insomniac has revealed the individual stage lineups, the official festival map and some truly cheerful GA and VIP amenities for the 2nd annual Countdown New Year’s Eve celebration. The festival is returning to the NOS Events Center on Thursday, December 31st, bringing bigger and better indoor/outdoor stage productions, and including performances by over 30 of dance music’s biggest acts.

This year the festival grounds have expanded, encompassing three remarkable stage designs, interactive art installations, and playful costumed performers. Pushing further the feelings of Winter, New Years at Countdown will sparkle with a beautiful custom indoor ice skating rink. Fans can take a break between sets in the NOS Citrus building to enjoy a skate with friends while keeping warm in the surrounding lounge areas, equipped with heat lamps, delicious food options and refreshing beverages. The Citrus building will act as both a relaxing place to chill, as well as a convenient hub for meet-ups.
The Countdown 2015 21+ VIP experience is filled with some phenomenal firsts which haven’t been seen by any other Insomniac festival. While an exclusive viewing area and dance floor will be available at the Infinity stage, the Resolution stage will host an elevated VIP Viewing deck accompanied by an array of luxury amenities just for VIP guests. From 9-11 PM, the Resolution VIP area offers fans complimentary NYE themed cocktails as well as a complimentary champagne toast once the clock strikes midnight to ring in the New Year. The Grilled Cheese Truck, an LA food truck favorite, will help keep VIP guests warm and smiling with complimentary grilled cheese and tater tots served all night, with a cozy, heated VIP seating area to sit and enjoy these fresh eats. Guests can also visit the hot chocolate and s’mores dessert bar to satisfy their sweet tooth. Kandi bracelet making, dedicated wifi, special photo opportunities, phone charging stations, complimentary parking, rapid festival entry and more are all included in the Countdown VIP experience.
