Ultra Miami 2016 || Event Preview

Ultra Music Festival 2016 will once again be taking place in Downtown Miami at Bayfront Park! I am pleased to say that it will in fact be returning for another year on March 18-20, 2016. Many consider this festival to be one of the must attend events in the country, and so do I.

Tickets are still available for Ultra Music Festival Miami 2016 and to my surprise, UMF did listen to its music patrons by lowering the prices this year. Early birds started out at almost $260 and sold out fast.

Currently ticket prices are as follows:

  • GA Tier 2 tickets: $324.95 plus fees
  • VIP tickets: $1,249.95 (includes express entry into the event, VIP platforms along with a VIP Village, which includes separate food vendors, merchandising vendors, and restrooms)

You can purchase tickets by clicking here.

Be sure to check out the Ultra Music Festival Miami 2015 Official Aftermovie:

I have previously attended Ultra 2013 and 2014. Ultra was in fact my very first music festival and I loved every second of it. However, you should keep in mind of the location of this festival. It is in Downtown Miami and lets face it, Miami is known to be a party capital. Miami Music Week is directly before this event so hotel prices tend to be a bit higher, as are many other costs associated with the festival. Overall it is an amazing festival, the production is off the chain, the DJ’s are amazing, just the vibes are what threw me off.

After serving in the military for eight years and attending Florida International University in Miami, I attended my first EDM concert in 2012. The DJ I saw was Kaskade and I fell in love with the scene immediately. Since joining the EDM community in 2012, I have been to several different music festivals which include: Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, TomorrowWorld, Mysteryland, Electric Forest and many others. I have also been to several shows but prefer music festivals overall. Some of my favorite DJs include: Deadmau5, Kaskade, Rabbit in the Moon, and many others. EDM has always had a place in my heart and it actually came into my life when I really needed it, you could say it saved my life.
