Trance would not be trance without its melodic, uplifting, and downright beautiful beats. And the next DJ on the Dreamstate lineup is on a journey to master everything that makes trance so special. Born as Wojciech Swica, Simon O’Shine got his start recording tracks in 2002 that he only shared with his friends. He wasn’t sure of the direction he wanted to go and it took him some time to find a direction that suited his musical taste and talent. When he discovered uplifting trance, he never looked back. Simon’s first track called “Ceaseless” would be the beginning of a promising career for this young, driven producer. Soon this very track would be released under a new name called, “Deep Emotions” and promoted by Capite Music, a well known Polish label. Since then, he set off on a fast track to brush elbows with some of the biggest label kings in the industry. Today, Simon has the bragging rights to say he has worked with labels such as Armada/FSOE, Defcon Recordings, Blue Soho, and Trance All Stars Recordings. And through all of his years of production, Simon O’Shine has consistently stayed true to the elements that make for a beautifully crafted trance record.
A trance refers to a state of hypnotism and heightened consciousness. This is portrayed in trance music by the mixing of layers with distinctly foreshadowed build-up and release. Simon O’Shine understands the definition of trance music and because of this absolute understanding and love for trance elements, he can consistently captivate the dance floor and take the crowd on the ride of their lives. Simon O’Shine, the producer of songs such as “Miss You”, “Anya”, “Enthusiasm”, and “Tears of Memories”, will be the perfect addition to a lineup that is sure to leave us trancers with memories that will last a lifetime and a deeper love for this extremely talented Polish trance master. Since the inaugural Dreamstate event Simon O’Shine has been blowing up and keeping busy in the studio. His new track “Where Echoes Never End” is a great example of this mans passion for the trance genre and one that needs to be highlighted for Simon O’Shine fans all over the world to enjoy. In addition, tracks like “Extraterrestrials” with Sergey Nerone and “Hypnogenesis” (set for release in December) remind us why we need men like Simon O’Shine in our trance community. Brilliant pieces of work that will without a doubt help to push him farther into super trance stardom. Just coming off of a performance at FSOE 450 what is next on his agenda? Well, his eyes are firmly set on the Transmission pre-party in Prague and before we all know it, Simon O’Shine will be home once again at Dreamstate SoCal. It will be a thrilling home coming indeed!
