Dreamstate has proven itself to be packed full of trance giants and the next man on the lineup is a perfect example of why this festival is going to be extremely successful. Giuseppe Ottaviani comes to us from the beautiful country of Italy. He began his studies in music learning how to play the piano at the ripe old age of 4! He then went on to study classical music as a teenager, and soon he would discover what was to be his passion, his life, his love, and his career: electronic dance music. In 1995 he started DJing in clubs and quickly began producing his own tracks using what he had learned through his years of music study. A few years later, Giuseppe met fellow DJ’s Andrea Ribeca and Giacomo Micciche and created his first project entitled NU NRG which resulted in a deal with Vandit Records to start releasing their tracks. This group collaboration was a great way to begin his career but, in 2005, Giuseppe left NU NRG to pursue a much desired solo career and began releasing his own tracks like “Linking People”, and “No More Alone”. And in 2009, the GO! project was created and named as his most significant career move to date, with 14 new tracks being used as a foundation for production associations and established DJ’s alike. A follow up album called Magenta would have just as much of an impact.
Today, tracks like “Lost For Words”, “Love Will Bring it All Around”, and “Earth Beat”, still eminate in the minds of Ottaviani fans. He has played in clubs and festivals all over the world and has established himself as one of the best DJ/producer’s in the trance scene. His music is melodic, uplifting, intense, and full of passion. Listening to his sets will put you in the kind of head space that defines what trance music is and should always be. Giuseppe Ottaviani takes his listeners on a journey. The kind of journey that leaves you fulfilled and happy but out of breath because of all the dancing he will demand out of you through his incredible trance beats!
