There has been a ton of news surrounding Insomniac Event’s flagship festival, Electric Daisy Carnival in the past few months. They have launched two new EDCs in Brasil and Japan, but let us not forget about one of the original international expansions, EDC Mexico!
Insomniac and partner OCESA are excited to announce the return of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Mexico to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City on February 27-28, 2016. The third installment of the dance music festival will once again draw fans from all over the globe, transporting them into Insomniac’s imaginative atmosphere. Featuring innovative stage designs, stimulating special effects, dance music acts, art installations, and full-scale carnival rides, EDC Mexico will return this year bigger and better than ever.
Last year’s festival welcomed a crowd of 100,000 fans, making it the largest dance music festival in the country’s history for the second year in a row. EDC Mexico completely immersed festivalgoers at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez into a world of attractions that included six thrilling carnival rides, costumed clowns, confetti showers and the fire-shooting Mayan Warrior Art Car.
