Summer festival season may be on it’s way out – but will all the excitement surrounding a successful Outside Lands last week, and the upcoming Treasure Island Music Festival next month, the Bay Area still feels very much alive.
Treasure Island, taking place on October 17th and 18th is not and has never been a rave. Celebrating its 9th festival in a row, event organizers Noisepop and Another Planet have brought us an eclectic lineup from dance music heavyweight deadmau5, to other EDM acts such as Gorgon City and Cashmere Cat. Indie artists such as Deerhunter and CHVRCHES as well as hip hop artists such as Azealia Banks diversify Treasure Island’s lineup.
With no overlapping sets and a breathtaking view of the San Francisco Bay, Treasure Island seems to be a worthwhile experience.
