Today is Thanksgiving in the United States; it’s a day for food, fun, friends and family. While I am thankful for many things on a daily basis, today is the day in which you are supposed to give thanks in a more public setting.
First and foremost I would like to give thanks my team here at EDM Identity. Each and every one of them is a valued member of the team regardless of which part they work on. If it was not for the hard work that we have all put forth, this site would not be what it is today. I am grateful to be surrounded by people who not only share my vision for the direction of the site but also are just as passionate about it as I am. Whether they have been involved since the initial concept or started contributing recently, they are all amazing. Thank you Drew, Tamlyn, Airy, Ari, Dustin, Justin, Dylan, Maggie, Cliff and Charles. A special thanks to Cat Wendt, who designed our website and graphics.
Second, I would like to give thanks to The Scene Is Dead. I began writing for them in August, and have since covered multiple events for their site. They welcomed me into their family and have been nothing but supportive and helpful during the planning and launch of EDM Identity. I cannot thank them enough for their help, so thank you Suzanne, Keith and Tory. Starting today, I will begin cross-posting my past and future articles from The Scene Is Dead to this site as well. The friendship between The Scene Is Dead and EDM Identity is deeper than just a work relationship, as we all share the same vision of what an Electronic Music Blog should be.
Finally, I would like to give thanks to the readers and supporters of EDM Identity. You are all the reason that we continue to stay driven in our efforts to provide the highest quality content that we can produce. Our site is not just for us, it is also for you. We are still growing and we have many things lined up that we feel that you will all enjoy, so stay tuned! Make sure to like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter.
I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving and ate plenty of great food.
Much Love,
Grant Gilmore
